Well it was ten years ago to the day that I decided to join FimFiction. I had already started trying to write fan fiction over on fanfiction.net and I wasn't thrilled by the site. I then heard about this site and joined, I liked it a whole lot better and decided it would be where I write my stories. When I first joined, I thought I'd just write a few stories, hopefully get a few followers and do some reading on the site. I never once expected myself to still be here 10 years later, yet here I am.
I never imagined I'd produce as much material as I have, nor such a diverse amount. When I first joined the site, I vowed that I would only write E rated stories. I stuck to that vow for a little while and then a story I wanted to do had a bit of violence in it so then I decided, ok, I'll write teen rated stories too but not M. Well then one story I had planned had the type of gore that would require the M rating so I caved in and moved on to not making restrictions on the rating of things I would write. At that time I figured, "Ok, gore is ok but sex is not."
Then of course I ultimately wrote a lesbian clop fic and well, I discovered those are rather popular and I really enjoyed writing them so I figured, "I'll do everything EXCEPT foalcon." Now that is one thing I have not budged on nor will I. Children and sex do not mix....aged up is ok in my eyes but not when they're children. Anyway, the past ten years have been quite fun.
As I begin my second decade on this site, I have decided that my writing will involve the following.
1. More in-depth stories. Many of my stories have been one chapter clop stories over the past couple of years and I'm hoping to maybe cut down on those. I have a couple that I'm working on right now but with future ones, I'm planning on making them more than mere "wham, bam, thank you ma'am" type sex stories.
2. Multi-chapter stories will now be released one chapter a day instead of me releasing the whole thing at once. I am deciding to do this because it will give the story more exposure and hopefully lead to higher views and vote totals.
Anyway, I am happy that so many of you have liked my stories and are following me. I look forward to the next ten years and hope the site is still around in 2033 so that I can make a post like this ten years from now. I have enjoyed creating content that all of you like and look forward to continuing to do so. Don't worry everypony, I don't plan on going anywhere. While many people have left the site, you won't have to worry about that with me. Ponies are simply too big of a part of my life and once you reach my age, you're pretty set in your ways.
I'm glad you are here to stay! Even if your choice of topics in your writing is questionable...I am happy that you were able to find followers and friends and memories that are worth a lifetime!

Thanks. One of the most depressing things is seeing people just up and leave the site. The only thing that will cause me to leave is death and I don't plan on kicking the bucket any time soon. I have one story in the works right now and if you like AU, Starlight Glimmer, Discord and Twilight, I'm sure you'll like it.

Well I am going to be getting back to work on it tomorrow. My goal is for it do be done sometime in August. It may not be before I fly to Seattle for Everfree but it should be sometime next month.

Ah, cool! Have fun with it, and I know it is your own story, but I would prefer if the story does not include any s*x or fetishes or more than light gore, as well as not too many swear words. I mean, you can write the story any way you want; I'm mostly just telling you the kinds of stories I mostly read, haha. Good luck on the writing!

This story won't involve any sex, gore or profanity. It will include plenty of drama though. I can tell what kinds of stories you like and my guess is that you probably enjoyed more of my earlier stories....one of the funnest stories I ever wrote though was "Cozy Glow Drives Tirek Nuts" which is my highest rated story.

I did another Cozy Glow fic where Starlight didn't think she should be turned to stone and ultimately wound up taking her in at the end of the story.

While many people may not think of family friendly stories when they think of me, I do have some. One thing I haven't featured on my front page is my sexually explicit works. I figure if people want to find them, they can click on my stories and go find them.
