Update for I Am Not Big Mac · 10:15pm Jul 10th, 2023
Howdy do. These past few weeks have been crazy for me. First A Meat Lover’s Agony hitting the top spot in featured and staying in featured for a whole week straight. Now I Am Not Big Mac looking to do the exact same thing. In the 9 years I’ve had a FIM account, I don’t think any of the stories I threw out on here had ever gotten this amount of positive reception. I normally just threw them out here until the passion ran dry, then deleted them a few years later.
Now there are at least 50 of you following and hundreds of you tracking the next chapter of I Am Not Big Mac. Kinda crazy, and very nerve wracking. I ended up working on the next two chapters much faster than I normally would after the positive reception.
After chapter 3, however, I am gonna take it back down a notch. Chapter 4 of I Am Not Big Mac will take longer to arrive, but I hope those waiting for it enjoy it all the same when it does come around.
First, I’m going to work on the next chapter of a story I’ve been neglecting a bit since Meat Lover’s became so popular. My longer story Drummer Out of Time will be getting it’s next chapter before I Am Not Big Mac, and future chapter schedules will depend on where my passion points me going forward. I don’t plan to leave either of them behind, but it will take me awhile to work through them.
Thank you for checking out my stories over these past two weeks, it really has made me feel great about a small thing I do to pass the time. I hope to continue these stories in ways that you all can continue to enjoy.

They're both good stories and deserve the recognition they've been getting. If you'd take a bit of advice though, try not to let it all get to you. Expectations aren't your responsibility. Just keep writing what/how you want to.
Take as long as you need! You've managed to craft a really intriguing story so far, and I'm sure that like myself many others won't mind waiting to read the next chapter. Just remember that you don't need to please everyone with your stories, you only need to please yourself. Keep it up and I'm sure there'll be plenty of us along for the ride! :)
