Chapter 7 & Going Forward · 8:14pm Jun 1st, 2023
So, let's talk about Chapter 7.
Chapter 7 may see only a couple of overhauls, in terms of the conversation between Shifting Sands and Alex, a flashback, and lesser profanity and screaming in frustration. 
But, I want to reiterate, I am doing this because I don't feel comfortable with the tone I initially portrayed for the book. The attitude of these characters was not how I wanted them to be, and they were put on such an extreme scale, I have to tone it back.
Furthermore, that may make me look at the whole book again differently. Up to Chapter 17!! It's...It's complicated, to say the least.
So, after I finish Chapter 7's revisions and update it, we WILL go back to the current storyline. I feel as though the next 6 chapters are vitally important to understanding the arc and why we are here...mainly looking into the mind of how Alex operates.
I'm going to relax for a bit before I get back to work...speaking of that...we'll see what happens. Because my hours got cut. The summer grind...may be faltering. But my writing will not! See yall in the next update! BYE!!
