So Chrys is my favorite villain in MLP. I think Sombra has the most potential (before season 9), Tirek is awful, and Cozy is just an annoying foal. So I want to write about Chrys a lot more than anyone else.
While she is not pure evil in my head canon I believe her funnest form is pure evil and so that leads to this story. I'm aiming for maybe thirty-ish chapters. Pretty mature so not for everyone (I mean Chrys is already eating everyone in this prequel).
I really want to explore gray areas in morality with this one (Not with Chrys, obviously). With the other characters.
With Chrys I want to make her brutally evil. That sounds like fun.
Blueblood is lame. It was fun writing his final scene. The blue unicorn is obvious and the other character too.
This was written for the Cyberpunk contest as a backup. The actual first chapter is already written but it's not close to done as a story, obviously.

Totally agree. While Chrysalis is a monster, she can be seen as more or less approachable (as in she can strike up a genuine conversation if stars align or if she wants something). Also her motives at least somewhat understandable and relatable, usually. King Sombra in his purest darkest form might be something completely else 😏
