So i seem to have beaten back the roaches. Boric Acid does wonders as ever. The duct tape and baking soda traps I made aren't catching anything now.
I've had a few days to relax and tap out the final prep work for Lord Barleycorn and chapter work is commencing.
However my time here is drawing to a close. on the 28th I'll be back on Amcrap headed back to Ohio, this time with super long connection times. The good news is i feel like I've shaken the cobwebs out of my head. I spent this time exercising, and challenging myself to live on a single trip to the grocery store. I've had no alcohol, no sugar, and no caffeine. Sitting still for 42 hours however is going to be a major cramp but it can't be helped. Still, I feel healthier than ever. Though I doubt I'll ever make rice and lentils a staple food in my diet for a long time.
I'm eager to get home, just to get the amtrak trip over with so I never ever have to travel by rail again. (iron hard seats, 8 dollar ham and cheese sandwiches. outrageous.) It has however given me perspective on the trains in mlp, which should give me some descriptions when I get to Lost and Blind again.
Glad to hear you're doing well, "a change is as good as a rest" they say, and you've had both at once.
