For the first time in a long, long time, I've uploaded to FIMFiction, and the amount of support I've received for "Not So Guilty Pleasure" is absolutely mind blowing! Thank you all, from the bottom of my heart! I'm just getting caught up on comments after taking a few hours studying for an entrance exam for a certain agency (I've got a few dream jobs and this is one of them).
Okay, enough digression from me. A few of you even picked out certain lines that really resonated with you, and that makes me super happy! Some of you have drawn inferences to marginalized groups from Smolder's trepidation, and I'm happy others see Smolder's allegorical nature the same way I do. I was gonna come right out and say it in the author's note, but thought "Nah, I'm not gonna tell them how to think and feel. It's more fun for them to draw their own conclusions."
TL;DR I really wanted to write this story, spurred on by and working from a commission I got from Papilrux, but I wasn't sure it'd net much traffic considering I haven't uploaded here in well over a year at this point. Yesterday was the first time in months I'd even logged in. Truly, sincerely, from the bottom of my heart, thank you.
Still need to get around to reading it, but from the sounds of it, it is relevant to my interests, so probably won't delay too long.
