Okay, so that's why PS4 was cut out.

I've known for some time that last gen consoles were going to be left behind at some point, but was still a bit disappointed that I wasn't going to be able to play Horizon Forbidden West's Burning Shores DLC on my PS4 Pro.

The tease at the end of the launch trailer gave me a clear answer as to why:

We're going to fight a Horus Titan, the tentacled behemoths that have been dormant in the backdrops of both games.

Time to save up for a PS5, or hope it comes to PC sooner than later.

I’m just gonna go ahead and say that I don’t buy it when they tell us the DLC can’t run on the PS4.
