About the "Always Love You" song · 7:10pm Apr 1st, 2023
First, I just wanted to clarify that yes, the last blog entry was an April Fools joke. :P
Now before I talk about the song, I just want to say I might release the final chapter tomorrow at noon, but I can't give any promises. I am just getting it finished and proofread, so we'll see. If not tomorrow, probably on a weekday around 3pm EST.
Alright, for those who don't follow me on DA, I explained it in the description for chapter 6, but I'll make a blog entry about it here. "Always Love You" is inspired by "Love You Forever" which is a children's book by Robert Munsch:
In this book, a young boy is growing up throughout the years and causing stress for his mother, but every night, she sings him a song reminding him how much she loves him. There is no official tune for the song to my knowledge, so when my mom sang it to us as kids, she made up her own tune. While I wrote the lyrics for "Always Love You" myself, I adopted this tune for it. It's been linked several times, but here it is again in case you missed it.
Like I said the other day, I cried pretty good while writing this song. I got the basic tune composed in Garage Band earlier this week, but as I wrote the 2nd and 3rd stanza, I couldn't hold it in. If you thought chapter 6 was sad, just you wait till chapter 7!
Now I remember that name I remember my mom reading that story to me as well wow it's been a long time I mean my sister has it now because she loves to read but still wow can't believe I almost forgot but it's also sweet have your mother doing that for you and how you get the inspiration from

I figured some of my followers might be familiar with this book. The tune works so well.
