Wow. It's actually been five years since I first published a story here.
Five years.
That's kind of mindblowing.
It reminds me of that question: Where do you see yourself in (x) years?
I'll be honest with you guys, I've always hated that question. But I digress.
I'll never forget when I wrote my first couple of chapters... then realized I actually had to hit "publish" for the story to show up on the website proper! 
Man, was I nervous as hell while waiting for it to publish. Luckily for me, I had a whole bunch of people nice enough to provide constructive criticism. They helped me evolve into the skilled writer that I am today, and if any of those of you are reading this, I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Here's to at least five more years. I don't plan on going anywhere anytime soon.
