You Should Enter The Spring Fling Contest! (Please please please pl · 4:34pm Mar 19th, 2023
Exciting news!! The Spring Fling Contest has just been announced and I—the questionably illustrious and sort-of-cool-but-kind-of-weird ✨Avery Day✨—am one of several really rad and neat judges! That's only one reason why You (yes, You, the individual entity reading this sentence specifically at this very moment) should enter the contest, but there are many more reasons beyond that—including money prizes!
Of course, that's not a lot to go off of, is it? What do you have to do for the contest? What are the rules? How long do I have to submit my entry? What kind of benevolent god allows the everyday cruelties we witness and experience to persist unopposed? I'll do my best to briefly answer most of these, but I'm going to be vague on purpose. You'll have to read up on the rules and guidelines yourself to make sure you get everything exactly right!
The most basic gist of the contest is: write a romance prominently featuring a character (main or side) from the first Equestria Girls movie! There are other rules and guidelines, and they might seem long and/or intimidating, but I assure you that it's all very simple.
You have from today (12:00am Pacific Daylight Time (PDT) on March 19th) to 12:01am PDT May 1st to submit your entry. Once again, there is more criteria than just that which you can read about on the rules and guidelines page.
