Holy crap... 10k Views in the few short weeks the story has been out... Guys, I'm speechless. You're giving me such good love on a story that I thought would be flawed and difficult from the start. Let me begin this by saying how thankful I am for my prereader, Iroh. He and I have worked hard on every chapter to bring you guys the best quality that we can possibly give... Now, my previous work has all been of decent quality. Decent, but not great. Not even good, in my opinion... Just look at how well (Or not well) reviewed other stories like the entire A Different Kind of Love series is... Particularly, Melody's Tale and The Untold Chapters.
Well, let's just say there's more than one reason they're on hiatus...
And others, too! Rainwater Martini, sure, it's well-reviewed, but it doesn't have much publicity at all... Not many readers, not many favorites, and definitely not that many thumbs...
Or other stories like The Royal Equestrian Family or Mortal Enemies... And let's not talk about Polish, either >.>
Let's face it, I haven't made anything stellar.
But then there's this...
Archmage...
Guys, I can't even begin to describe how fulfilled it makes me feel every time I look at that view count. Every spike in the view graph, every new fluctuation in the thumbs... Every. Single. Favorite.
Words just simply cannot describe. They fail me. I'm at a loss. For once in his life, prolific and eloquent Loyal doesn't have a single fucking thing to say.
You've broken me.

On an unrelated note: I know I'm slacking on requests. I understand. Hell, I've missed probably a dozen or more. For this, I am sorry. I truly, truly am. I do not mean to ignore or deny any requests, but I've been rather burnt out the past few weeks. I used to be able to force inspiration. I could crank out requests once or even twice a night... But now, I just feel... Bleeh.
Insert the useless author excuse of "I don't want to produce anything that isn't quality." But, yeah... I've debunked my own feeble argument earlier, so... *Insert foot in mouth.*
From the bottom of my heart, I am sorry to requests that I have missed. Please...

Do not stop sending them in. I will TRY to get better about adding them on the list. I will TRY to pay better attention to it. I will TRY. But I will not promise... Right now, Archmage is my focus. If I can, I'd like to finish it out by the end of January. I think that Iroh and I can do that if we devote ourselves to it. No promises, but that's what I'd like to aim for...
Alas, this blog draws to an end.

Odd I wasn't really a fan of archmage, I thought you made luna to stiff and the frist part felt to overwrought... to me at least, while I love polish and it is the one want to see continued.

Loyal posted a story about how there was some accomplice of Nightmare Moon who was also stuck on the moon, he was her head general or something like that. Anyway, I didn't read it, but from what I do know it was pretty much what you expect from that kind of premise... He deleted it after about an hour.
