Half the time I don't even know how I do what I seem to do so well. I try not to think too hard on it, for fear of breaking myself in the process.

I have an idea, and I need some feedback because this might be a big one

It goes without saying, I'm not the fastest writer around these parts. Not anymore at least. Anymore it takes time to get an idea figured out, written down, and refined to the point I want to release it for being read. But this doesn't lend itself well to getting the chapters and updates churned out. And unfortunately it leaves you with more ideas being backlogged than you want to admit. It

    Small update

Ever since the last chapter I've been stumped on what to do with the next chapter.

I'm happy to report that I'm 1.3K words into the next chapter, so things are slowly but surely getting done.

    Not dead

Neither I nor the story are dead as of the time of this posting.

Turns out writing Ulquiorra from the outside perspective of uninitiated ponies is a lot harder than I thought it'd be, and I'm having to spend a lot more time in the brainstorming stage than I'm accustomed to.

    Why?

Why is it so damn hard to write at times?

Why does the prospect of sitting down to type up an idea and give it physical form, seem to just suck the life and enthusiasm right out of you?

    A thought

The current chapters for HIE are proving to be a lot harder to write than I thought. Even harder when you've got distracted thoughts flaunting themselves at you.

Discover Card is now on my shit list · 6:11pm Feb 18th, 2023

It's recently come to my attention that Discover Card has decided to implement the use of merchant identifying codes, which will be used to identify and track when their cards are used in he purchase of guns and/or ammunition. Meaning if their records are ever subpoenaed by government they'll have a list of individuals who've bought guns and on what dates they were purchased.

Fuck you, Discover!

Discover if planning to implement this system by April. Assuming they aren't already doing it and simply haven't told anyone yet. Whether other credit card companies will be doing the same, have already done the same without telling anyone, or will refrain from such practices, is anyone's guess.

Cash may be king, but even the king can't do you any good when you have to order something in so it can be picked up locally.

Fuck you, Discover! It was bad enough when it was just UPS saying they were going to seize and destroy any gun purchases in their inventory.

Yeah, that’s some big time be

Almost any financial institution that's been around since 2008 is going to be monumentally corrupt, effectively bankrupt, or both.

If you can, keep your money close. If you have to have a bank, I recommend a local credit union.

What annoys me is “we no longer accept cash”.

Funny... isn’t it a violation of federal law to ignore the declaration on all printed notes that say “this note is legal tender” ?
Various nations say it differently.
“...for all debts domestic and foreign”
“... legal tender in xxx and it’s territories”

I mentioned this and received stuttering as an answer. A fair question too at the time as my credit card was not working with their machine.

Technology dependence is becoming a crutch.
