So I won't lie, all of what I'm gonna show to you is made using AI. But I'm not using these as the "Finished looks", but these are more of concepts, as I'm terrible at drawing, and don't have cash to pay someone to draw them. But this is the main idea:

Legend of Zelda-Diablo game idea. · 3:34am Jan 28th, 2023

So as a heads up, on the 1st, I'm heading to California with my dad for my grandmother's funeral on the 2nd. I didn't exactly want to bring attention to it, as it is a family thing, and I didn't want to bring anyone down. But with that out of the way, let's get to something fun.

So for a while, I've been playing a mix of Diablo 2 & 3, and Minecraft Dungeons. I won't go into details on what I feel about them, only that they've pushed me to this idea: A Diablo-like spinoff for The Legend of Zelda. It sounds weird, but here me out: If Legend of Zelda can have 2 games that play like Dynasty Warriors, then it isn't hard to imagine a dungeon crawler where you, and other players, slay monsters, level up, and equip gear.

I'm not a game designer, but here's how I imagine the character equipment to be like.
-Helmet slot
-Chest slot
-(Maybe) Leggings slot
-Special slot (varies on class)
-Primary weapon slot
-Offhand/secondary weapon slot

I really haven't written a story for this, but I imagine that Ganon's dark magic has taken over Hyrule and is slowly spreading to the neighboring lands. Not only is there a surplus of monsters appearing, but plants are dying, rendering farms to be fruitless, with animals as well. They say that the Hero of time is supposed to be here, but so far, Link hasn't appeared anywhere. All seems hopeless, until you, and a party of 4, join the resistance held by Zelda, to find where Link is, awaken him, and stop Ganon, bringing back life to the dying land. Now, for the true event, a brief look at each of the playable races/classes, their playstyle, with their background and why each is risking their own life to save Hyrule.

Hylian: The beginner class, where you can swap and use practically every weapon on the fly, gain bonuses from weapons, and have a wolf companion at your side.
-They were a scout for the Hyrule army, but after failing to deliver a message, and being the only survivor of an attack, they ran and hid in the wild. In the wild, that's when they found their wolf, as a lost puppy, and raised it to be loyal to him, and have successful hunts. Now, they've returned, hoping that if they help save Hyrule, the spirits of their fellow soldiers can forgive them and rest in peace.

Sheikah: The speedy glass cannon that relies on stealth (done with smoke bombs) to deal a huge amount of damage to a single target, and use poison in their kit.
-The Sheikah are close to the Hyrule Royal family, and they were the apprentice of Zelda's previous, who perished when Ganon and his forces took Hyrule castle by force. Now, they're Zelda's guardian, and the only way to truly protect her is to stop Ganon as soon as possible. Though this leaves her vulnerable, it's a necessary sacrifice at the end, when Ganon is defeated, and Zelda can bring in a new age of prosperity.

Goron: The closest to a Barbarian, being much tougher than the other classes, and deals out more damage, with rolling being a part of his skill set, and can dual wield two handed weapons (excluding bows).
-Hailing from Death Mountain, he is a champion who's fought the toughest of enemies, and seeks a true challenger. When Ganon's dark magic began to influence Death Mountain, making the rocks they eat taste awful, he saw the potential for someone challenging, and to save his people in the meantime. A lot of weaklings are between him and Ganon, but when he gets to Ganon, he's gonna enjoy beating him up.

Zora: The cleric/paladin that, while can be played solo, is best in a team, as they have healing magic, and auras to boost allies & hinder enemies.
-From the Zora Domain, they were a cleric for the Goddess Hylia, and believed they were safe. But Ganon's dark magic came, and the water has been draining rapidly. With their faith in Hylia, they left their domain, to stop Ganon and bring back the waters of life, believing this to be a test of faith, and that they shall not fail her.

Rito: The ranged/bow focused class that has some slowing abilities to keep enemies at bay, can place traps, and can crit, giving them bonuses.
-They were a hunter from the far frozen north, looking down at Hyrule, but they saw Ganon's dark magic spreading across the land. Though the others don't believe that it'll reach them, they'd rather risk to stop Ganon right now, rather than wait and have their ways of life ruined because of ignorance.

Gerudo: The agile warrior of the bunch, she excels with dual wielding & two handed weapons, can avoid attacks, and stuns enemies with lightning.
-She was there when Ganon was born. She was there when he became their king. And she was there when he started to take over Hyrule by force. It may seem late, with Gerudo seen as evil, but she will right her wrong by taking down Ganon, even if it means killing her sisters.

Twili: The true magic focused class with different spells to use and making their elemental effects even better, but also having a monstrous form they can turn into for a few seconds.
-They studied magic while in their home, the Twilight realm, but their kingdom became merged into Hyrule from Ganon's magic. And from Ganon's magic, their friends and family became corrupted from his dark influence, transforming into monsters. They were able to repel his influence, and even control the beast they would've become, but to save their people, and get back home, they must defeat Ganon by any means necessary.

You may notice I used "They", and that's because they can be either male or female, excluding Gorons and Gerudo, the all male and all female race respectively. And though I'm not an artist, I hope that they can have the models from Breath of the Wild and be translated into graphics similar to Twilight Princess. As for the special item slots that are unique to them, here's a small list.

-Hylian: Armor for their wolf
-Sheikah: A Face Mask
-Goron: His belt
-Zora: Holy artifacts
-Rito: Head Feathers
-Gerudo: Earrings
-Twili: Books

But I hope that this sounds like a fun idea that, hopefully, Nintendo will publish one day.
