News on the upcoming Diablo 4 has been slow and steady ever since its initial announcement at BlizzCon 2019. Each month or so, mostly during Blizzard's quarterly development updates, Diablo 4 Gold will reveal several more details for example, announcing the introduction of a new character type or showing new weapons and armor sets. A recent Xbox or Bethesda Games Showcase gave players the chance of seeing more of the anticipated action RPG.

We're less than two days away from Season 1 of Diablo IV, and the 1.1 patch notes may as well say this:
"Hey, Baldur's Gate III is coming out in a couple weeks. Go play that. Fuck you."

Still resisting taking a chunk of money and buying a beginner's racing sim setup. That will likely become harder to resist as Forza Motorsport gets closer to release in October.

So for now, more Halo, Freedom Planet, and writing.

I finally beat Diablo 2 Resurrected on Normal last night, and after two hours on Nightmare difficulty, my worst fears from Path of Exile were realized; just like in that game, my build hit a wall because I don't plan for synergies 30 levels ago. Plus there's a 40% penalty to all resistances for Nightmare, because apparently that's supposed to be more fun, and certainly doesn't erase 15 hours of grinding points into resistances. Diablo, another Blizzard original. Unlike their two “Craft” series Diablo is a top down dungeon crawler game. And it has a fairly simple control setup. It's doesn't take up much room, and is definitely important to the series as a whole. Though getting it to run on a modern system does require a DosBox.
