Just to get it out there, I'm pushing upload to February. Part of the reason is I am not happy with how the chapters flow together and I need time to tweak it a bit.
Mostly however, it is life. As some of you know by now, I am a manager. Or at least in training to be one. Learning the job has been a strain on my mental faculties. But life decided it wanted to hurt me over the holiday, of which I won't get into, and I have to deal with that before posting with any confidence.

Life gets In the way somtimes take all the time you need.
Always take care of yourself first, and remember that the good fans of your story, prefer to wait for quality chapters. Those clamoring for more right now, are always the ones happy to read copy pasta. They are the reason we have 6,000 stories of; "Wakes up in the Everfree, Fights (Insert monster here), Saves (Insert foal here), enters Ponyville where he is immediately attacked by Dash for no real reason. Etc, Etc, Etc...."
It comes, when it comes.
Just don't forget to take time to decompress. Especially if life has gotten hard.

Also don't forget:" Immediately all of the town acts like he is a monster (if [main character] is human) and trying to either kick him out or throw [main character] into the mane six for help, tries to improve his relations with town and most or half of mane six, that despice you for no reason,though hard and embarrassing work/s, gets help of a *million*bits from the Princesses once they learn you exist(also for no reason), you end up becoming *insert warrior type* after defeating some small antagonist/s, attracting the actual villains' attention, ends up in a harem with half the mane six, royalty, background characters or OC's, defeats the villain/s through the power of love, friendship, human technology and mind evolution and *main protagonist plot*, *repeat in next story but with babies and even wotst enemies*.
It's okay friend, take as much time as you want to recover and put your things in order.
We can wait.
Take the time you need. We (your dedicated readers) have your back! We support whatever decision you think is best for your story.
Remember, we want you to enjoy writing the story just as much as we enjoying the reading of it! Don’t let concerns over delaying the story become a worry, or a source of regret. We’re just happy you haven’t given up on it!
