The Pony Guard Rainbow Rocks update: · 6:13am Nov 15th, 2022
Hello everyone,
I know it's been quite some time since I last published something new in the Pony Guard series, but as you could tell, I really needed a lot more downtime from writing than I realized.
Now that I just recently put together the finishing touches to revising parts of Light and Dark: Road to Redemption, I'm now ready to get back to business.
That being said, next up is a Pony Guard adventure into the world of Canterlot High for the Rainbow Rocks adventure. As of right now I am just starting to piece the opening together which I hope to have ready by the end of the month.
With that in mind, I'm trying to get this story put together but it has been a bit slow this time around so patience is expected out of everyone. That means NO demands that various parts will come out sooner than expected or else this story will be delayed till next year.
Also, going forward I will be monitoring comments because one of the reasons why I took off from writing is because some commenters felt the need to test my patience in the handling of some of my decisions for this crossover.
Suggestions and advice for room for improvement is one thing, but expecting me to do things their way along with harshly laying down undeserved criticism is an entirely different matter. Whatever I try to put down in this series is my decision not yours. So consider this everyone's only warning because I'm done allowing this fire and flame of comments dragging my hard work through the mud to go by anymore.
One more thing, if there's anything from Season 4 of the Pony Guard that could use some rewriting let me in the comments and I'll try to take a look at them when I can. Such as if any of you felt Twilight as Midnight could have been a much more sympathetic character during the first half of Season 4 what would it be?
Aside from all of that, that is all, and again if all goes well then I can probably get the start of Rainbow Rocks out by the end of the month.

Good luck mate, and I can’t wait for the next story of the pony guard, man this journey is still awesome. And whatever u write down in the story is indeed your choice, my parents always tell me to never let others dictate your mind or tell u what to do or what not to do, because at the end of the day it’s your story, and you have the green light to do whatever it takes.
As always this will be one hell of an upcoming story. 😎
I do feel like Twilight could've been a bit more friendly to Ono, possibly Kion and Fuli but mainly Ono as he would hang out with Twi almost as much as Kion.

Okay, anything in particular like some specific scenes that'll help me pinpoint of what to look for?

Like say when giving the Guard the friendship journal she'd give it to the egret and kindly pat him on the head, or when locking Kion and Fuli up she'd say something with a hint of respect knowing how tough they are.
Make sure to mark the date on the part of every chapter you revised.
I'm kinda curious. When the gang start making their journey to the Tree of Life, do you think that Twilight's past allegiance with Scar would cause problems between her and Rani since the latter knows who Scar is and all he's done? It would make some sense given how the Night Pride were initially suspicious of the Lion Guard before they proved themselves as allies.
