This is a story and historical lore of the world of Equestria, you may know it as the peaceful and loving land ruled by Celestia. But you are so very wrong. About a million years ago both Luna and Celestia fought nightmarish creatures called Demons, they were the reminants of hatred, pain, and darkness. Luna at the time was the most cunning and was mostly the one to act first, but her sister had a plan, to infuse all the evil into one body, Luna didn't think it was a good idea but, now was the time to act. Luna forges a black crystal to harvest the souls of evil, and Celestia took the reminants of both dragon, and demon and fused it together in one significant body. They created a creature named, Azmod'el. At first he seemed just like a jerky General in boot camp, but then he got into necromancy, and that's were Luna had to come in.

For 1,000's of years Azmod'el slayed millions of ancient ponies called Paladian, the most ancient and also the first species of ponies besides Luna and Celestia's royal guards and army, they lived in a magical but very militarized kingdom of Lordrath'ial which was ruled by King Terenathil Menathias 1. War ravaged on, until one day, Celestia, Luna and King Terenathil Menathias came together and sacrificed their immortal shells to slay and contain Azmod'el in an icy prison on a frozen wasteland for all eternity known as Tau Vanentis. But it doesn't end there, Azmod'el has a plan to destroy the Menathias bloodlines by corrupting one of royal sons as his vessal, and that pony's name is Arthuran Menathias who will be later known as "The Nightmare King".
