This is an episode I never rewatched until now. Execution-wise, it's a middle of the road episode. Not great. Not terrible.
After more than four months, Chapter 61 of Fallout: Equestria - Hooves of Fate is completed, finalized, formatted, and ready to go. In my own files, drafts of each chapter tend to get named by letter, (47f, 52j, 58m etc.). To put things in perspective, the final version of Chapter 61, "Light, Shadow, and a Secret Third Thing," made it all the way up to the letter u.
Some of you may have noticed that it's been quite a since there's been a new chapter of Hooves of Fate. The reason is twofold:
1. The tactical logistics of what these characters are seeking to accomplish (no spoilers just in case you haven't caught up) - are particularly complicated.
2. The Outernet has been clobbering me hard of late.
Sisterhooves Social is a milestone episode for so many reasons.
-For starters, it's the first episode ever not to have Twilight Sparkle crammed in the middle of it.
-It is the beginning of a six-season arc dealing with conflicts between Rarity and Sweetie Belle.
14-1/2 months ago, Hurricane Ida flooded my basement apartment, and uprooted my family. The brony community came to my aid in a truly inspiring and deeply moving way. For that, I will always be grateful. You helped me get back on my feet.
It was also in that period in my life that My Little Pony: A New Generation dropped.
