So, I post the 13k story I've been working on for a month and it gets twenty-something views and three thumbs--one of them down! I'm just wondering where everyone is... Pony terminology is confusing. What's the alternative for "handiwork" or "craftsmanship?" Is there one? And if there is, are there more like this? Do we switch "hand" for "hoof" and "man" for "stallion" or "pony?" They seem like a pretty gender ambiguous culture--but still use "guys" as a way to call a general group, typically between friends. I couldn't finish the thing I was working on. Thought I had time yesterday, but things got hectic. I'll try to finish it by new year's, but I can't promise anything with how life's been treating me.

So... I have a new pair of glasses, my studies are going swimmingly, and I've gotten back into the mood to write.

I want to write, I have a few characters, and a few ideas--but nothing of substance.

If I can get through my finals intact and keep those few ideas I have in my head, I'll write something up by Christmas.

I was strolling through the woods, enjoying the beautiful colors of the fall leaves bathed in the golden light of the setting sun. The songbirds were finishing their last melodies before the starlit sky was to be painted above for the night.
