First all, let me say that work on Chapter 7 of A Tale of Two Suns is proceeding very well, despite my earlier.... setbacks. sigh.

I've gotten a lot of the background data I lost back in my file as well as the old story text, and as of right now I'm working on the last scene, and then I need to go over the rest of the scenes and polish them some more. I hope to have it out in the next few days.

Just a little update here to tell you all that there will be a slight delay in chapter 7's release.

So here's the thing. I use a piece of writing software for my fanfic work, with maybe one exception. That would be WriteItNow 4 (there is a WriteItNow 5, but I just haven't gotten around to updating). Anyway, it's a good piece of software. It really is. Definitely recommend it.

So after playing with the blog system on here for the first time, and since I'm taking a small break, I thought maybe I'd put down a little thought I've had bouncing in my head for a while.

I get that there's a subsection of stories on a gender-reversed MLP world. I'm fine with that, even if I don't really care for it. And I get that there have developed some standardized names, like Dusk Shine, Butterscotch, Eris, etc. That's perfectly normal.

Hey, first blog post on here. So as I write my first story on here, I'm going to be integrating bits of comic canon into it. Now I know that lots of people read the IDW MLP comics, but I know there are probably those that don't. Reading the comics won't be required for reading my fanfic, not at all. But the fact is that I love the IDW comics and I want to be able to share that with others who might not have taken a look at them.
