I came to a realisation today. I've reached that state of...obsession if you will, where I don't need the show to sustain my love of FiM. Don't get me wrong, I still love the show and I think it's the best thing ever, but it's actually been a while since I watched the show. I've built up a small collection of merchandise, that continues to grow, and I've read a lot of fanfics, and even written a few. After reading a good amount of fanfiction today while I wait for a game to install on my computer (still waiting on that) I decided to get back to work on writing my own fanfiction. Right now I have one pony WIP (and several non-pony ones...bah!) and after I published my latest story this one was sort of put on the back burner. A few weeks back I bought a Fluttershy decal for my laptop. After struggling with the instructions for a few minutes I was able to apply it only to realise shortly after that in my excitement, I had placed it on the wrong part of my laptop. I resolved to buy another decal and apply it where Fluttershy was supposed to go and a few days later I did just that.

It arrived today, I applied it, and now I can say that my laptop really is complete.

I set out today to reduce my "Read Later" list from 63 to something a bit better. Say perhaps 50. It's now twenty past eight in the evening and I've managed to read about five or six stories on there (one was 50k words, so that's why I've read so few) but I found myself adding more to it as I discovered sequels and other stories written by people.
