I've had little motivation to write the final chapter, despite knowing what I want to do with it. Every time I sit down and try to start writing any desire to work on it just vanishes.

Just to give you an idea, I decided to start by writing the love scene, and that alone is already longer than Chapter 1.

And I'm only halfway done with the scene.

Add to the fact that there is an entire non-erotic story for the Chapter that leads up to that scene and...yeah...

Chapter 5 has been kicking my ass all sorts of bad. I've never had a creative project fight me so strongly like this chapter has.

Regardless, I'm just under 10k words deep into this monster, and despite hating essentially every other one, I'm hoping I can pull something together by the end of September that I don't absolutely loathe.

Chapter 4 was fighting me tooth and nail all day today. I think going forward I need to start planning out my chapters more beyond the simply two sentence synopses I've been working off of. It was fine for chapter 1 and 2, since they were nice and simple, but 3-6 are much more complicated, so I seem to be spending more time sitting and pondering how to connect my loosely conceptualized ideas then I am actually writing.
