I think no matter what I do I'm gonna hate this

Chapter 5 has been kicking my ass all sorts of bad. I've never had a creative project fight me so strongly like this chapter has.

Regardless, I'm just under 10k words deep into this monster, and despite hating essentially every other one, I'm hoping I can pull something together by the end of September that I don't absolutely loathe.

I think my problem is I wanna write happy super duper lovey dovey shit, so whenever shit gets real I lose all motivation, hence my struggles here and with Chapter 3 *shrugs*.

Anyways, in the meantime, have some WIP revised cover art.

Ok, not entirely what I was hoping to pull out for this, though the new cover did make me think of this part of the Lion King, but meh. Hope this, somehow, helps you out of your creative stupor.

You are a great writer. I mean hell, if this is how you write when you aren't motivated, I'd love to see what you can accomplish when you are! So far all of the chapters have been good, believable, interesting, relevant to the story, and fun to read. Lots of little comedic bits. Some d'aww here and there. Epic beer snobbishness which I totally relate to. And you do it all in sophisticated style. Love it!
