Hey all. Long time no talk.
Writing and me haven't been on the best terms ever since I finished What You Mean To Me. Been trying hard and digging deep looking for inspiration and motivation, but it's been a difficult challenge to find an idea I can truly latch on to and believe.
Most of the ideas I've been entertaining are original ones that have nothing to do with MLP.
So I think I might be bowing out of the pony fic scene.
I have one final short, tentatively titled "What Have I Done", that is a side story to WYMTM showing what happened with Rainbow Dash after she left the hospital in Chapter 5, which I plan on finishing, as that was always something I wanted to address even before I finished the story proper, but that will probably be the last thing I publish on here.
I have a lot of ideas (eight, actually), kicking around in my brain, but I'm still looking for the one that makes my heart sing, as it were. Finding time to sit down and shuffle through all the ideas and figure out the etails is tricky when you're running a YouTube channel full time (and on the cusp of launching two more xP).
I'm certainly not done writing, but the subject is changing.
I don't know where I'll be publishing what I write after this short, but I'll be sure to let you all know in case my words still appeal to you, regardless if they contain horses or not.
I don't have an ETA on the short, as its been a struggle to complete outside of penning some of the dialog loosely. I'll try to finish it by the end of the summer, but no promises.

Even if you're not writing here anymore, will you still be reading other people's horse words? I also plan to write original stuff at some point down the line, but I'll still remain with this site all the while.

Even if you're bowing out of Ponyfics if you ever write anything else please please share on your FimFiction! I've lost touch with the works of so many fantastic writers and musicians because they choose to never tell their pony audience where they're going and what they're doing.
I know that feel with nonmlp fiction ideas gathering most of your attention. Much to the people who read my work's dismay, I've been occupied lately by a fan fiction for another fandom and an original novel I've been meaning to actually start writing again for a while.
At any rate, I can understand you bowing out of pony fiction. I wish you all the luck in the world with your future endeavors, mate.

2267938 have you ever heard of a ship called ButtonBelle, or SweetieMash? It's a cute ship featuring the pony I base my username off of, Button. Mash, and Sweetie Belle. If you don't know who Button Mash is, check out Jananimations and his parody song Don't Mine at Night, or Button's Adventures if you can find the video, most likely uploaded by a random YouTuber here and there. I hope you find great inspiration, friend!

Glad to know you're back, man. You could post the nonmlp idea stories on Fictionpress.net Best places to post any story nonmlp based, unless you want to publish it.
Distressing, but understandable. Writing is a bit of a time vampire on it's own.

I can understand trying to wite some non-MLP literature.
Only thing is it doesn'!t take away from my ponyword-time cause I hit the hugest wall of writer's block I have ever encountered.
You know, as much as you into the Kaiju scene, I am not entirely sure why you haven't tried a Kaiju in Equestria. It could be pretty much anything you wanted, gritty, serious, dark or funny and silly. Anyway, I am sure you will do just fine as long as you write.
P.S. I went and saw Godzilla in THX. Did you see it in an "advanced" theater like that? Cause quite honestly I think they were trying to deafen me with his roar. Like, my ears were ringing for a good two hours after the movie.
If you feel like writing fanfics that are non-pony related, feel free to drop them off at Fanfiction.net, Storywrite.com, and all other related websites. If you feel like publishing an original novel, there's always different ePubs.
