Lucy was interesting.

Interesting from a scientific point of view, from the standpoint of a enjoyment seeking viewer maybe not so much.

While it had it's fair share gruesome and violent scene, they were clearly not the focus of the movie. You'd already seen most if you seen the trailer.
Lucy doesn't want to focus on the action, but rather the concept which underlines it. That humans just use 10% of their brains and therefore are limited in certain manners.

I just watched the Avatar: The Legend of Korra Book 3 Change finale and now I am crying like a little bitch.

this season of animes was interesting. It had a surprising amount of surprise.
There was a lot of stuff which I thought I would dislike or like and this confuses me. Generally I am able to determine whether I like a anime from the description and the genres alone, but the ones like Bokura wa Minna Kawaisou or Majin Bone really did positively surprise me.
