When it rains, it pours, huh?

SlayerOfTheBad has drawn a rendition of the Ouroboros medallions from Off The Edge Of The Map and Apotheosis.

There's also a sepia-toned, higher-resolution version but it's a tad blurry. Either way, it's a pretty nifty design!

The redoubtable Dark Blue Dreamer decided to commission up a picture of Apotheverse God-Forms and...well...it's pretty damn epic.

That final form was awesome and reminded me of some of the art of biblical angels - immense and inhuman (inequine?). It probably approximates Luna's actual God-Form in the Apotheverse. Which makes me want to see that and Celestia and Twilight that way.

Hint, hint?

With Cartography finished I'd like to make a stab at opening the Apotheverse at least a little, in case anyone else has interest in doing writing or art inside it. To that end I've set up a group though I need to make a banner and icon for it (I'll hack up some of my story art probably).

Now that it's done, I can say that I'm pretty satisfied with Cartography.

I think it's the best thing I've written in terms of tightness of prose and pacing, though I know it's not as flowery as some as my others have been. But I don't think too much in the way of flourishes would have fit the narrative anyway.

That uh, sure was an episode, wasn't it guys?

As Cartography winds down here I'm considering opening an Askblog for Rose and Gerard. But I'm pretty ambivalent.
Points for:
- I could keep my hand in so far as pony writing goes without committing to an actual story
- There's a lot of stuff in the setting that can't possibly be touched on any of the stories
- I could actually engage with my readers

I have a personal stake in things so I'm biased but.

Goddamn was this a low-effort episode. There was no nuance to...anything. At all. I am disappoint.

I'm going to stick with my gryphon history, thank you very much.

No really, I'm still writing.

This chapter ran into an unfortunate confluence of "this is really hard to write" and "oh my god real life would you quit it." However it's sitting at 5400ish words and I only have a few scenes left I think.
