When I say Grimdark, I feel I must clarify what exactly that description means in my opinion. If someone were to have told me at the beginning of October that I would write over 115,000 words of MLP fanfction in less than four months time, I'd have called them crazy. But here I am, I guess. Drafting the most recent chapter of Coming Back put me a few hundred words shy and I'm about to launch into the next chapter so I'll soon be breaking 120k provided my chapter lengths remain consistent. To be honest, I didn't even notice crossing 100k and only realized it about 7k words later.

I am, in general, a rather forgiving fanfic reader. As a writer, I can be and often am rather hard on myself, but as a reader I overlook a lot of problems. Especially if the fic in question is Twidash. What can I say? I really like the pairing; it's why I got into fanfiction in the first place. Twidash, Twidash, Twidash. I've read practically all of what I can find. And of what's there, a surprising amount is really good. But at the same time there is a lot of Twidash that's terrible.

New chapters of Coming Back have been going live at roughly 12:00 AM MTN. Since it's been featured, I've decided to move the update time to 7:00 PM EST to be more visible to new readers. Updates will continue to be weekly on Thursdays. I'm sure this would only be noticed by a few of you, but I figured I should make a blog about it.

I've also been kicking around an idea for a one-shot that'll probably be written soon, so keep your eyes open for that.
