The Changelings have taken over Phillydelphia and are moving closer to Ponyville and Cloudsdale. Young fillies, Surprise and Speckled Ink, OC, venture to the Everfree Forest to see the Changeling Army. Will they both return back safely or will one of them never return? .
This story starts just before the mane six get their cutie marks, it also means that Twilight Sparkle has no yet arrived in Ponyville.
