I'm pretty disappointed that they went the 'one aberrant changeling' route. That's probably the least interesting possible way to get a friendly changeling. Plus all the, y'know, rampant speciesism it reinforces by providing an exception to prove the rule instead of casting doubt on the rule itself.

I'm in Quills and Sofas from now until about 4:30. I'm the guy behind the laptop with the big yellow 11-pointed star on the back. I'm going to try to put a little work into Snit. We'll see how it goes.

SPark and I got in late last night, and are safely ensconced at the Holiday Inn with wonderful views of the very noisy fire station, just like last year. We'll be manning booth 717 during the day, and spending a lot of time at Quills and Sofas otherwise. Say hi!

Now that the convention is over, Everfree's gotten back to me to arrange a refund, so that's cool. I still hope we are able to attend next year.

Everfree has just e-mailed SPark to tell us that they definitely don't have any spaces for her to vend in, so we're not going. BronyCon, which is on the opposite side of the country from us and went with a smaller dealer space this year, had room, but not the con we can drive to.

Bumping a vendor who has sold well for two years running seems really stupid to me, but what do I know?
