2. Green and Blue (Halo 4)

I got the soundtrack for Halo 4 two weeks before the game came out. And when I heard this track, and the title of it, I was 99% certain what was going to happen in-game. Turns out, my prediction was correct.

The full version of this track does not play in the game. But even so, this was nearly the closest to tears that a cutscene has brought me. I was crying on the inside, I'll say that much.

3. Never Forget, Midnight Version (Halo 4)
The beginning of this is played in the closing cutscene of Halo 4's campaign, the rest in the credits. A perfect mix of somber and hopeful, Never Forget is a beautiful piece of music that has solidified itself in the Halo franchise, having been here since Halo 2.

Well, because of another hectic week, I have gotten hardly any writing done. But because I did not want to work myself sick before Thanksgiving, I got my closing shift covered tonight, relaxed, and got the 540-word first draft of the Castle Mane-ia letter written, with some dabbling in some scenes in Young At Heart and a bonus chapter for Fractured Elements. Now it's just a matter of getting 6 people over here for Thanksgiving dinner tomorrow.

This DLC mission has you investigating Project Overlord, which a scientist claims his brother has been able to communicate with the Geth, and has volunteered for an experiment. As you fight through the facility, you continue to hear David Archer's insane ramblings, then after the final boss, the holograms clear, and you see just what Dr. Archer has done to his brother.
