Sorry guys, another long talk-y post.

If you don't read my author's notes, you may not know this, but Human was written as an experiment. The HIE genre gets a bad rep thanks to its high ratio of bad stories to good ones. When I wrote the first chapter, I only had one previous story to my name that was published somewhere on the web, and that was both a collaboration and unfinished, and it still is now, though I do continue to work on it slowly. Still, writing it taught me a lot.
