So today I've got something that I'm sure will really interest you all:
Author of the Commander Hurricane series (A Song of Storms), co-founder of the Price of Loyalty universe, and overall world building fanatic. Join my discord!
So today I've got something that I'm sure will really interest you all:
You know what's funny? I just realized that I've been on this site for one year as of yesterday, and I didn't even know until this morning. How the time flies!
If I had realized that sooner, I would have made RoaDC my anniversary gift to you all, but... close enough. It's only off by one day!
Anyway, while we wait for that to get posted by the mods, let me start by telling you guys how great you all are.
Why hello there, everyone! I come to you with some great news! You can expect to see my new story, A Rainbow of a Different Color, sometime this Friday! I've been hard at work on this story, and I'm excited to finally be able to release it to you all.
First, let me show off some beautiful cover art Ruirik whipped up for me:
So yeah, I'm still thinking about how I'm going to put Chapter 19 of Snow and Shadows together, and since I always take a day off from writing after posting a chapter, I have nothing of real interest to do. Therefore, I figure some of you people probably have questions, whether about my work or about me in general, and I figure I'll answer them. Because what could possibly go wrong?
I wondered when this was finally going to happen, but it finally has! Thank Everae for the reading of Snow and Shadows, head over to his channel, subscribe, comment, and all that jazz. It's very well done!
I don't know why I'm writing this. I really don't. But Swift suggested that I "do something relaxing" to take my mind off of the storm. And when I say 'suggested', I mean she hid my armor and sword somewhere and demanded that I do this if I want to get them back and return to the field.
Mares.
Hey everyone!
In a few short minutes (hopefully), a short story that I just wrote will be up for Equestria Daily's Flash-Fiction challenge. If you've read the challenge, you know it's about Trixie and why she likes to wander the roads, and if you didn't... well, now you know.
Anyway, I'm happy with how it turned out, and I hope you all enjoy it!

Finally wrapped up the whole college ordeal today, and I'm excited to say that I'll be going to the University of Pittsburgh in the Fall 2013 semester! I know it'll be a great fit and I'm really looking forward to the start of college life.
So if you read the A/N I placed in the chapter I put up today, you know by now that Snow and Shadows is now halfway done. While the first half of the story was fun to write and build up, the second half is where things really start going. You've already seen a lot of divergence from canon in these 10 chapters, especially with the whole Onyx Ridge plot arc, but trust me when I say that there will be more. The basic plot of the story as told in canon remains relatively the same, but

As I stated in my previous blog post, I was out and about doing various things that consumed much of my free time over the past two weeks. One of them was the National Memory Competition in NYC during the 17th. It's a fun little thing where basically you have to try and remember as many different things of different events as you can, with the events ranging from random words and numbers to memorizing a deck of cards.
