Sometimes I think I'm like that Joseph guy from Camus' "the Plague", endlessly tinkering with my great work, with no ending in sight.

Except mine is already dozens of chapters long and likely will be finished in my lifetime

I'm not even scratched, but the car lost a wheel, and depending on what else got ripped out, it might be too expensive to repair.

Lots of fanfics will be non canon now, lots of others will be written

I'm tempted to cherry-pick the parts I could use in my own fic, and discard the rest.

That's all I can say without spoilers, so I guess I'll just wait for the rest of you to see it.

That's the first time I've ever had to wait for part 2 of a twoparter.
