I really hope Butcher doesn't go Martin on us, and does finish the series.

I think I'm using this blog more to track my progress that to communicate with people... so, in other news.

My girlfriend is sick, but stubbornly refuses taking a week off, for fear of disappointing her boss. Really, that's silliness out of an MLP episode...

My grandma has had her 93rd birthday. I'm happy she's managed to live another year. Though she no longer makes dresses, or apple cakes, she's a wellspring of happy memories that I like being near.

The endgame is about to begin, and just weeks after chapter 49 was completed.

All the praise goes to my girlfriend, who kept nagging at me to pick up the pace and finally get it done. She's a real angel.

That's about one third of the writing speed I aspire to. I need to learn to follow Stephen King's advice on limiting distractions when writing.

What goals are you setting for yourselves, and how good are you with following them?

My little brother is getting married this weekend. Looking forward to the trip.
