Yeah, I'm also archiving every interesting story I find, in case one of these days this site is closed. That said, I'm just taking measures if the worst happens. I don't really think this site will fall down until after, let's say, ten years at least. Even further, I dare to say we won't live to see the death of this fandom. Every month, new members join the herd and produce new stories, drawings, music and videos, even after the series has finished and the golden days of the fandom are long gone. This fandom will probably have a (relatively) small number of members barely fluctuating through the passage of time, keeping the embers alive until the distant day all the potential has been exhausted. For now, let's enjoy the treasures of this fandom we are so lucky to be part of.

So, site member to site member, I'm just hearing random things but is this site close to dying? Did I join this place too late? I'm downloading and archiving as many fics as I like for posterity but I'm just curious. The UI and story formatting on this site is amazing! I just wish there was a decent PDF render (I use FicLab to download).

Just wanted to get your take on the site's longevity. I also keep hearing the MLP fandom is dying in general, which I don't find that happening anytime soon. Not to mention N*zi bs as well (no one can escape that s*it nowadays anyway.

I apologize if these are heavy topics and you don't know how to answer. That's okay though. I just worry. I just got back into reading fanfiction a few months ago and feel like the general community is falling apart so I'm just downloading and collecting what I can before the plunge.
