Hey, everybody. Couple pieces of news.
1) I'll be attending Everfree Northwest this year. Feel free to use the comments here if you'll be there as well.
2) I wrote a fic for the EFNW Contest: Reflection. I'll update this blog post when it gets approved, though you should see it if you're following me.
I love Seaddle. It's rainy enough to wear my jacket and not look out of place, the ponies there have enough decency not to bother me about things like friendship, and I was permitted to physically hurl a frozen fish at the one pony who recognized me and went into a spiel about "war crimes" and "police brutality".
Spiel. That's a funny word. You'd think there would be a 'ch' or an 'sh' (or a proper, self-respecting Ш) in there somewhere. Шpiel. Now that sounds right.
The crescent moon hung over the Manehattan office like a guillotine, just waiting for that fatal drop. Didn't both me in the slightest; in fact, it was nice. Reminded me that there was somepony keeping her eyes on me. Keeps a corpse warm at night.
It wasn't my office; belonged to some poor sap who'd been on the wrong side of another sap when it came down on his skull. The Royals had already cleaned the mess up. Too bad they didn't have the eyes for evidence that I did.
So 24, Ruirik, and I have been talking, and they've just about convinced me to go to BronyCon.
If any of my esteemed readers is planning on being in attendance (Baltimore, Maryland. August 1-3, 2014), would they care?
Secondly, because I am "ape-shit crazy", I decided it might be a good idea to do cosplay if I do go. So if you care, give me your opinions on these:
1) Dead Reckoning (old)
2) Chocolate Malt (aka Night Guard)
3) The Commander (i.e. Hurricane's Armor)
First off, I am attempting to reply to Zennyth's comment on the previous blog post. If this works, I will be semi-surprised.

So, some of you (at least 1) are wondering why I'm taking so dang long to update Ghosts of the Past. The answer is simple to say, but semi-complex to understand. Namely, its a hard chapter for me, and I want to get it really right.
It occurs to me, probably a bit late, that since it's been so long since I updated, a summary would be a nice thing for everyone to have. I'm sorry this didn't come out a few days ago when I posted Ch. 11, but it can still serve as a quick refresher on a few things going on.
I almost GUARANTEE that I forgot at least one major element of foreshadowing in here, so don't count on it for *every* plot point - it's just a very general summary from off the top of my head.
