Yesterday's incident seems to have only been the first one. Today, Tomato was found at the bottom of the cage, with his body stuck under the bars while his wings and head were out. My brother found him and we rescued him...

Tomato's wings seem to be hurt; it's possible he was stuck like that for a long time. He moved around again after around half an hour.

I'm finding it suspicious how they only get hurt when they're outside...in their own cage...

A few months ago, my dad saw a nest sort of thing in the shop, and bought it for the finches (who were previously my brother's, but are now mine, 6 in total). I didn't get one for my budgies because we went to a supermarket and not the pet store, so it might not be safe.

It was safe for a while. They loved it, spent most of their time in it... And then today...
