I love my editor, I really do, but both of us have a trait in common. We're both slow. I take quite a while to write chapters at times, and he takes a while to edit them. We're both extremely thorough as well; so, we go back and forth many times before a chapter is ready. This means it can take an extremely long time for a chapter to be ready to get posted. Much longer than necessary.

Well, after all of my July adventuring I've finally completed the first draft of chapter 15. I finally checked out the word count only to realize why it was taking me this long. My last chapter took the title of the longest as the first one to break the six thousand mark. This one is currently clocking in 1500 words longer than that, and that's before rewriting it which usually adds words as I flesh out descriptions and make sure all of the nuance is correct.

Well, I'm home now. Visiting Midnight Dancer and briefly Fought Dragon (until he ran away) was fun.

We made a Build a Bear Rainbow Dash for Dancer as a belated birthday present. Then I did a voice clip of me saying "You're such a bitch!" in my campy voice to put into the pony.
