So I've posted a bit about the charity event that I will be attending in January, but there's been a pretty major development. Blizzard Entertainment has sent me one of these Sideshow collectible statues to be used as a prize at the charity event.

It's numbered 283 out of 1250 and generally sells for $1000-$1500 depending on how many are on sale at the given moment.

Yeah, I've been out of town so I haven't been able to update my progress bar. That's pretty cool huh? I'm still going to be busy-ish preparing for AGDQ, but I should be able to get this out before I leave in January.

We finished the road trip to visit family and when I wasn't taking turns driving I had my laptop out to do words. I finished revising the next chapter of From Scratch, proofred it (I'll still be sending it out to a few people to help me catch the dumb mistakes that I missed.) and got about a thousand words of the next chapter started.

So I decided I was going to do NaNoWriMo a little differently this year. I've tried to do it traditionally in the past and it never worked out. I do very poorly when it comes to forcing words onto paper. At the end of the month I look back and pretty much nothing is usable because it was so rushed. Plus I never even manage to hit the word count, anyway. So with that in mind, and the fact that I have a story idea that I've been wanting to workshop for a while, November is now for me putting time

I've spent the last week fighting distractions while I try to sit down and force some words out for stories that I'm working on and then I woke up this morning with a completely different story idea mostly formed in my head. I remember that specific parts of it were from a dream, and the rest kind of just formed while I lay there puzzling over how weird it is that I actually remembered a dream.
