i usually post these on my blog at the same time as i post the forum thread about it, whoops! at the time i launched the contest i was very all over the place with fandom stuff, sorry about that. so if you haven't seen the forum post, this is me telling you about this contest! if you already have, this is my reminder to you that there are just under two weeks left for entries!
whoops! i accidentally published the version of the story that appeared in the anthology, but between submitting that version and publishing this story i did go back to do another draft. it's not too big of a difference (1307 vs 1492 wordcount) , so if you've already read it i'm not going to push you to read the intended version, but there are some new bits here and there that i quite enjoyed putting in.
i have some contest news dropping "tomorrow", so i wanted to post this first to not get drowned out. i will be entering stories in at least two contests this month, and wanted to encourage you to enter in them with me!
