Now that I finally have the channel in my own home, I can watch pones more often. I'm doing it now. It's been a while since I've seen any Season 1 episodes. I have to say that "THIS IS WHINING" and "FOREEEEEVER!" are just as hilarious now as they were seven years ago.

Due to IRL commitments, I was forced to miss all the airings of the Season 5 finale. I only have basic cable, so I had to have my mother record it. Because her service is unreliable, her DVR only managed to record part 2. I have been hoping they'd air it again, but the folks in charge of programming seem to have been on a nostalgia trip since then, airing nothing but Season 1 episodes and G3 movies, with an occasional early Season 2 episode here and there. Dangit, I STILL haven't had the chance to see Friendship Games! It only came on at times that conflicted with my schedule, and although my mother tried to record it, her satellite service is crap and it didn't even try to make the recording. I, like most Americans, had a lot of fun yesterday.

It started with the local parade. I brought my mother and two sisters (one is eight, while the other is a year younger than me). Before the parade started (and after it ended), my mother walked around selling some bracelets she made. I mostly liked the old cars. With so many local businesses having spots in the parade, I had to wonder why my workplace didn't have one. Then I remembered who my boss is and that explained everything.

I watched the newest Transformers film this afternoon, and it was grand. Dropping Shia LaBouf was a great decision on the movie makers' part (something I've heard even Shia himself has said).
