Luna visits an old castle out in the far east of Equestria, only to discover a systemic issue that had been concealed from her for…years. Batponies are a growing species, and despite lack of attacks from them, ponies seem to take a xenophobic stance towards them due to their differences.

Luna and Fluttershy want to change that and let batponies live in peace.

The first story in The Grand AU

Lovely Blonde is one of the Elites, a powerful political group of wealthy mares whose function is untold to the public.

She makes a detour to visit the supposed hometown of her servant, who belongs to a small race of pony known as Fruit Ponies, and makes a horrifying discovery.

Her life then flips on its head as she becomes involved in something she knows little about.

Sunny innocently makes an over-the-top haunted house for Izzy. A bit too over-the-top, however, as things go wrong quickly, causing Izzy to run in a panic, blindly dashing into the dark nighttime forest.

Not only is it dark, but there are predacious creatures about...and they're all hungry. Izzy has no light save for a dim flashlight.

Can she survive until Sunny arrives to help her?
