Hard to believe I'm already planning my next story, considering "Hiatus" isn't finished yet.

As much fun as it is to write Luna, let's just say there's a certain orange mare that's in desperate need of some more attention, and I plan on fixing that.

"A Midnight Stroll" got declined for the Equestria Daily submission, simply because the pre-reader didn't like how I had done the dialogue. They were a bit of an ass about it too.

If the fic looks any different, it's because I've been editing it to try and see if they'll accept it this time.

It seems hard to believe, but "A Midnight Stroll" hasn't even been done for a day, and I already find myself itching to write more. I'm come to love Luna's character as a whole, as well as how I portrayed her (though that may be biased).

Between Friendship is Magic pt. 2 and Luna Eclipsed, Luna ended up being gone for a year. I think I might try to cover just what she did during that year-long absence.

After a little over two days, "A Midnight Stroll" is finished. Considering this was my first story in a very long time, I'm extremely pleased with how it turned out, as well as how it was received by the community.

For those of you disappointed that this is the end, it won't be - I had a ton of fun writing, and now that I've found a good way to characterize each character, I'll be writing more.

Besides, Luna needs some more love, don't you think?

Made several changes to the other chapters. Most notably, Sew-ing the Seeds of Friendship got a boost of 200 words or so. In addition, Fluttershy's chapter is now up. I'm very proud of how this one turned out - it's not as long as some of the others, but it goes pretty in-depth in regards to Luna's character.

One of the most common comments I've gotten so far is that the chapters feel too short. I had intended that to feel as if there was a sense of urgency - she's trying to do this all in one night, after all. However, I do understand when people say that it felt rushed. As a result, I'll be going back and editing each chapter before moving onto the next one, which will be Fluttershy's.

The Rarity chapter went up not long ago - it clocks in at a little under 1,200 words. Less than the other chapters thus far, but I'm still pleased with it. Without an appearance in Luna Eclipsed, there were some things I simply couldn't do with Rarity, which was something I wish could be changed. There it is, though.

The next chapter involves everyone's favorite party pony, Pinkie Pie. Expect some 4th wall destruction and references to the Luna Eclipsed episode.

I'm fairly pleased with how the story is coming along so far. I go to bed and wake up with over 200 story views and a rating of 4.8 out of 5? Not bad for an upstart such as myself.
