Rarity takes Maud to ponyville's crystal caves for some quality time together. But they have a job to do: locate a rare gemstone for Rarity's newest design. Rarity hopes she can show off her skills to Maud and find the rare gem with ease.

Fluttershy has been under a lot of stress lately. Dealing with Discord has taken a toll on her well-being. She needs help, so she goes to the one who gave her this task in the first place.

During a sleepover with the girls, Sunset Shimmer does lots of thinking about how much her life has changed since she met Twilight Sparkle. She gets out her journal and opens up to Twilight about her first trip to the human world, and how much it changed her life.
