While I don't really ship these two, I will say I did enjoy their great interactions. I love how Rarity took Maud out not for herself but to impress a friend.
This could be considered character development for Rarity expanding what she would once consider meh to be truly dazzling. Knowing how even a normal piece of granite has its own beauty just like turquoise. It's quite relatable to me, as now I can see beauty in things that I didn't find beautiful at first.
I truly loved this fanfiction. The moral of this story could've also been used in the show. Well done!

This was exactly what I was looking for in a Maudity fic. Kudos. It's a somewhat unconventional ship, but a really cute one.
My love for Rarimaud/Maudity has only deepened, so re-reading this was wonderful. These two are so cute.
