It's interesting to just arbitrarily run a Google search on an address you lived at over thirty years ago, and you discover that the house in question is currently being sold. You will find numerous photos of one of the major residences from your childhood, none of which you were really intending to see and certainly didn't expect to find. Over the years, we have collected a reasonable number of prints of artwork by the maestro himself - Salvador Dali. One of which is the Hallucinogenic Toreador (a print that's seven feet high).

Now we've moved from a house into a modest apartment ... this is proving to be difficult to handle. I think if we do hang all of the prints and include the bookshelves, it will no longer be possible to actually see any of the original walls in the building.

Okay, I have asked permission to publish my first chapter for the first story I have written in a year and a half.

Lying in bed, having taken my seroquel (nocte - PRN to treat insomnia). Listening to NWO by Ministry and Godless by The Dandy Warhols ... still trying to get the right feel for my story. Still working out the kinks one gets from heartache, along with living in a new place and looking for new employment.

... and it feels completely cliched.

Maybe it's the fact that time is short and I have errands to run? Probably. Or my depression, which has spiked again. Or my anger about deleting my old account.

I need to put together some lore that won't violate the rule about republishing old stories. This is a subject and a story I've wanted to write for so many years, I'm not letting go of it yet. It melds very nicely with MLP with the entire concept of redemption.
