Getting my confidence back by writing a thing for it.

Set in The Mothling AU, because Ace Cadance. I freaking love that headcanon and its her new default now lol.

Anyway, I'm working on a stand alone fic called Ace Cadance Does an Ace Speech, I'm hoping to get it done on time for Ace Awareness Week, but we shall see.

Going to suck trying to finagle cover art for it though.

So, I'm kinda tired enough to go "oh I have regular readers". Like, people who regularly read my stuff and comment, and I'm starting to recognize and remember usernames.

It's nice... I just take whatever what I can get in terms of interactivity because writing fanfics and replying to comments on those are pretty much the only social interaction I have online aside from hanging out with the few people I chat with on a regular basis.

A mix of writer's block and not getting enough sleep has resulted in the writing process not going as smoothly as I'd like.

I mentioned in my last blog that I wanted to get a scene absolutely perfect, and I have half of it done, hit a snag with the second half however. And since this chapter will probably be a long one, I thought I would at least show that I've made some progress.
