Well, finally, View from the Window chapter 6, wherein we remember that contrary to recent times, Reverie's life is not in fact made of sunshine and rainbows.

For a little meta, this chapter was the tantruming infant of the lot. The first draft was canned entirely, and the second was revised three times, aside from smaller changes and corrections in editing. I've done out-loud proofreadings so many times I'm starting to want to change lines because I'm tired of them being the same.

So, Operation Shameless Self-Promotion.

Bang out a 3500-4000 word cutesy (if generic) shipfic, right? Even chose a pairing I'd never write in a serious story, allowing myself to unload slapstick and let the cheese flow freely. Sat down, opened with Celestia halfway through her first of multiple bottles of Merlot.
