I can't believe how long the latest chapter of Swordpony has taken. It's so close to ready, and it's taunting me!

I'm finally living up to my title as Illustrator for an online magazine (it's The Weaving Knight - they're pretty cool if you like video-games and original fiction, go check them out). When I finish the project they've assigned me, I'm going to upload my story-map for Swordpony and start adding illustrations in each chapter.

After quite a long hiatus, which started out as a short break but quickly escalated when my computer fizzled out, Swordpony has finally updated. Better yet, I've got another chapter nearly ready to throw out as well, and the scraps of a third after that. Things are looking a little better than they were before.

The main reasons for this are a number of personal issues, and I've been living life like an emergency. However, I've finally realized that things will never calm down in my life, so I might as well just work around it. I've also had a new chapter ready to go for almost a month, but been unable to post it. You're probably wondering why that is.

Okay, so it's been a few months and I haven't been doing nearly as much writing as I'd like. That all changes tonight, because I'm finally updating Swordpony.

Not a whole lot to talk about. All the chapters have been rewritten and reorganized, so they're no longer as much of a slog to read. I've also written a new chapter 2, an in-betweener of sorts. As soon as I can get it all formatted, up it shall go!

And then I can finally finish chapter 6. That would be nice.

I was in the middle of reading Wikipedia's article on "Morrowind" when a friend in Docs pointed me to Equestria Daily, making excessive use of all-caps. Since he'd just done this very same thing minutes before, I figured that he thought I'd missed out on his previous post and that I hadn't seen the new "Artist Training Grounds" thing. But, out of curiosity, I trotted myself back to EQD...

I just realized that I've been forgetting to update the FIMfiction version of Swordpony.

This must not stand!

As soon as I figure out how to convert Google Docs to FIMfiction without too much hassle, more of my drivel will spam the interwebs. And hundreds of better stories will be buried beneath it!

So I submitted Swordpony to Equestria Daily a couple days ago. Since EQD is the Holy Mecca of the Pony fandom, it's very important to me to get at least one story published there.

Well, I got a couple reviews from the pre-readers last night. They loved it.

Got my first Pony fanfiction finished. The cover-art is taking a little while longer, but it's looking really good so far.
