Once you submit a story, it can take anywhere from a few hours up to a couple of days. As a new author, you'll probably get more scrutiny, just so that they can be sure you're following the rules. There are only five story approvers and they have to go over dozens of stories in a day. Be sure to reply to the confirmation email you'll get with a "Thanks!" once your story is posted, okay?
